Dr. Mays Al-Saffar is the owner of North Star Dentistry and a patient-centred clinician whose work blends extensive clinical experience with an integrative approach to oral health, function, and overall wellbeing. Her clinical focus includes airway-centred dentistry, snoring and sleep apnea, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) health, facial pain and migraines, and early interceptive orthodontics. At the core of her philosophy is prevention, education, and empowerment, creating a supportive experience where patients feel seen, informed, and confident in their care.

Dr. Zaid Babahami earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Baghdad and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Western University. With over ten years of experience in private practice, he provides comprehensive care across all aspects of general dentistry, with a strong focus on preventive and conservative treatment. He is committed to delivering high-quality, modern dentistry tailored to each individual, with particular interests in oral surgery, dental implants, restorative dentistry, and laser dentistry.
Dr. Arghavan Omidi

Dr. Arghavan Omidi received her Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree from McMaster University and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto. She then completed a general practice residency at Sunnybrook Hospital, where she treated a diverse patient population including those who are medically compromised and veterans while also working closely alongside oral surgeons to diversify her surgical skills. Through continuing education, she strives to expand her knowledge in all aspects of general restorative dentistry, as well as cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery.

Dr. Astrid Galvez-Sforza is a Canadian Board-Certified Venezuelan dentist who treats patients of all ages and different medical conditions. She has a solid professional background in preventive and social dentistry and also obtained a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Public Health in Toronto, Ontario. She is skilled with patients’ dental anxiety and is experienced in aesthetic and restorative care including Invisalign, wisdom teeth extractions, crowns, veneers, bridges, and dental implant rehabilitation.

Dr. Shieh’s clinical focus is advanced surgical procedures such as dental implants, sinus lifts, gum and bone grafting, gum reshaping, gum bleaching, and wisdom teeth extractions. He comes from a family of passionate dentists, with a family background in dentistry that extends back three generations since 1937. He currently serves as a Clinical Site Director for Implant Dentistry at Jacksonville University in Florida and is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Tamara Kamaluldeen

Dr. Tamara Kamaluldeen received her Bachelor in Oral and Dental Surgery in 2000, and received her Ontario Board license from The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario in 2017. She received advanced training in traditional braces, snoring, TMJ disorders and sleep apnea, and she is also an Invisalign provider. She is experienced in all restorative procedures, is always ready to treat any dental emergency, and loves explaining dental conditions to her patients and how to treat them.
